Designing for the good ‘Mega-Church’.
In late of winter ‘22, I happened to have met HCBC’s graphic designer at a Young Adults networking event they launched to do outreach to twenty-(and thirty)-somethings. Hill Country Bible Church is a non-denominational church organization (as a ‘non-denom‘, their mission is highly evangelistic and ‘people-friendly‘, rather than historical and liturgical) that started in the 1980s and was heavily involved in the mission of saturating central Texas with churches. Their site lists 25 co-founded churches! North Way Bible Church, my home church since 2009, is a product of this mission, and I’m proud to consider them as our close relative.
My work for HCBC has mostly consisted of creating marketing collateral, though I’ve also had the pleasure of creating the logo and branding for their Father & Son Campout and BackYard Bible Club 2023 events, curriculum, etc..

“Thank YOU for being available and using your creativity for the Kingdom! Your designs and efforts will help spread the gospel and touch so many lives for Christ.
I wanted to let you know that the people in Student Ministries are SOOOO excited for the XA shirts your made (over 400 kids will be wearing your work this summer, and so many more will interact with your Inside Out work!). Thank you so much for being patient and amicable with my edits. Everyone is so impressed with your work!
Overall, we’ve been so blessed to have you, and we’re looking forward to what else we can do in the future!”

God has done some amazing work through this ministry, and through other churches BYBC and XA endeavors. I’m very very happy to have created the graphic direction for their program!
